Our story
WillItLag started as a personal frustration. Every time a friend asked "will this game run on my laptop?", the answer involved digging through forum posts, YouTube benchmarks, and spec sheets written like riddles. So we built the tool we wished existed — a single page that tells you, in plain language, whether your rig can handle a game.
How it works
We pull live system requirements from the public RAWG video games database (500,000+ titles) and compare them against the hardware you describe. A tiered scoring engine looks at your CPU, GPU, RAM, resolution and storage, and returns one of three honest verdicts: SMOOTH, LAGGY, or UNPLAYABLE.
Our promise
- No downloads. Nothing installs, nothing scans.
- No accounts. You don't sign up to use the tool.
- No dark patterns. We don't push you toward a verdict you don't want.
- Local-only data. Your saved rig lives in your browser, not on our servers.
How we make money
